Sponge bullseye

sponge bullseye activity animated gif

Once you’ve found an open space in your neighbourhood, like a square or empty sports court, it’s time for a game of sponge bullseye. After all, everyone loves an excuse to get wet and messy outside.

  • First, draw a target on the floor with some coloured chalk. Make sure to draw a series of concentric circles, so that the target has different scoring zones.
  • Once you’ve gathered a team, take turns with your friends to dip a sponge in a bucket of water.
  • Then throw the sponges at the target — aim for the middle to get more points.
  • Why not change the distances you start from, or your throwing technique for an extra challenge?
  • Don’t forget to keep a running total of your scores.
  • So wherever and however you want to play, there are always ways to have outside fun. Let’s go!
