Film YOUR Outdoor Classroom Day – and be part of new mini doc by David Bond!

9th May 2017

So you are planning the best Outdoor Classroom Day EVER. You have to record it for posterity yes?? And then submit YOUR film to be part of the GLOBAL campaign for Outdoor Classroom Day 2018!!

So how to start? How about getting some advice from a pro, David Bond the Director of the amazing Project Wild Thing, and capture what your young wild things are up to!!

Then if you submit it to us – with all permissions – the very best will be chosen to be part of our crowd-sourced campaign film, curated by David himself and launched at the International Play Association Conference in Calgary, Canada in September 2017!

It will also feature here and on many of our partner websites around the world, helping us reach more teachers around the world, get more supporters involved, and get more children outdoors.

This brilliant film will be shot by you, the people on the ground, and be edited by David. The film will show how Outdoor Classroom Day is celebrated around the world and why outdoor play and learning should be part of every day.

If you would like to be part of this global project, please submit your footage using one of the following methods:

  1. Send us an email to info@outdoorclassroomday.com for files smaller than 10MB.
  2. Use Wetransfer to transfer one or more files that are up to 2GB.
  3. Upload on your Youtube or Vimeo channel and send us the link. Please be sure to set the link to be freely downloadable.

The best footage will be used in the final film.

Now don’t forget…

Don’t trap your kids in a portrait, let them run wild in a landscape!
