The Memory test activity is a fun game that will help children look closely at what they can see outside and see how well their memory power is doing at the same time!
Children make a list of what they can see outside. How many trees are there? Do they know the species? Are there any other plants? They could also draw pictures. Once they have made their list, they cover it, close the curtains and write/draw as many things as they can remember.
This activity is brought to you from School Grounds North East. The aim of School Grounds North East is to help individuals, schools and settings to maximise the potential of their outdoor spaces for learning and play, take the curriculum outdoors, and ultimately achieve outstanding outdoor provision.
